Community Circle Terms

Alchemizing Together virtual circles are free, community gatherings hosted on Zoom and offered by Alchemizing Life. They are spaces for reflection, conversation, and intentional community.

By registering for and joining a circle, you agree to the terms on this page.

To attend a circle, you register with your name and email address. After registering, you receive a confirmation email containing your Zoom join link, Meeting ID, Passcode, and dial-in options.

Each circle has a limited number of seats. Registration is on a first-come basis and may close once a circle reaches capacity.

You may join using the Zoom desktop app, mobile app, or a web browser. You do not need a paid Zoom account to attend.

If a circle is full, you are welcome to register for a future circle when it opens.

To protect the privacy and presence of everyone in the circle, no recording of any kind is permitted. This includes audio, video, screen capture, screen shots, photographs, and any other form of capture.

This rule applies to all participants. Recording by attendees will not be enabled, and Alchemizing Life does not record or publish these circles.

If you attempt to record, you may be removed from the circle without notice and may be declined from future circles.

Most circles are open to all ages. Occasionally, a circle may be designated for adults only and will be clearly labeled as such in its description.

For an adults-only circle, you may be asked to confirm that you are 21 years of age or older before registering — for example, by checking a box in the registration form. By confirming, you attest that you meet the age requirement.

Alchemizing Life may use additional reasonable steps to verify age for adults-only events. If you are unable to confirm eligibility, you are welcome to register for an all-ages circle instead.

Your name and email address are collected solely to send your confirmation, event reminders, and occasional messages about future Alchemizing Life circles. Alchemizing Life does not sell, rent, trade, or share your registration details with any third party, and does not use them for paid advertising or share them with advertising partners.

Registration details are stored only for as long as needed to administer the circles and related communications. You may request removal of your registration details at any time by writing to connect@alchemizinglife.com.

What is shared within a circle stays within the circle. You are asked to keep other participants' stories, reflections, and personal sharing confidential and to not repeat or describe them outside the gathering.

Circles are hosted on Zoom. When you join, Zoom may collect technical and connection data — such as your device information, IP address, and meeting activity — under Zoom's own Privacy Statement and Terms of Service. Alchemizing Life does not control, access, or retain Zoom's collected data, and is not responsible for Zoom's availability, performance, or data practices.

Alchemizing Life only receives the name and email you provide at registration and the Zoom meeting details it has configured for each circle. It does not receive participant data collected by Zoom beyond what is necessary to host the meeting.

All content shared during a circle — including the prompts, frameworks, reflections, language, exercises, and the I.N.T.E.N.T. Practice — is original work created by Alchemizing Life. All rights are reserved.

You are welcome to take the ideas into your own life and reflection. You may not record, reproduce, publish, sell, teach, distribute, or create derivative works from the content shared in a circle without written permission.

When in doubt, treat what is shared as belonging to the circle and to its author. If something moves you and you would like to share or build on it, contact connect@alchemizinglife.com first.

These circles are reflective and educational gatherings. They are not psychotherapy, counseling, medical or mental health treatment, diagnosis, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for services provided by a licensed professional.

Nothing shared in a circle should be interpreted as medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other licensed professional advice.

You remain responsible for your own choices, decisions, actions, and wellbeing. If you are in crisis or need clinical support, please contact a licensed professional or local emergency services.

These circles work because of how we treat one another. Please join with respect, curiosity, and care.

Hate speech, harassment, discrimination, proselytizing, sales pitches, or behavior that disrupts the gathering is not welcome. Alchemizing Life may mute, remove, or decline any participant at its discretion.

Please join from a reasonably quiet space when possible, keep your microphone muted when not speaking, and use the chat or raise-hand feature to share.

If Alchemizing Life must cancel or reschedule a circle, registered participants will be notified by email as early as possible.

Occasionally a circle's date, time, or format may change. You will be notified in advance when this happens.

If you can no longer attend, no notice is required — simply do not join. Your seat will be released for someone else.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Alchemizing Life will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation in a circle or use of this website.

These Terms may be updated as the circles and practices evolve. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.

These Terms will be governed by the laws of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
