The Relationship I'm In

The Relationship I'm In

Today, I realized that the biggest relationship I’m working on right now is with my body.

After Yoga, I participated in a reflective exercise where my instructor asked me questions as if she were my body: How can I love you? How can I hear you? How can I see you? How can I feel you? How can I commit to you? It was profound. It made me realize that, rather than fighting or ignoring it, my body and I are finally getting to know each other—better and more deeply.

Just a few hours later, that internal shift was met with an external miracle: a friend texted to tell me she is in the process of being screened to be a donor for me.

The timing felt incredibly significant. This season keeps showing me love through people, community, healthy choices, rest, movement, and even the way I care for my physical space. I spent much of today cleaning out my closet, letting go of the old to prepare for the new. Alongside this, I’ve been studying Saucha, the yogic practice of cleanliness and purification. It feels like the physical clearing happening around me is a direct mirror of the emotional and spiritual clearing happening within me.

I love this season of belonging, clarity, transformation, and healing. Everything I’m reading, hearing, doing, and feeling seems perfectly aligned. I am realizing that perhaps the deepest part of healing is simply learning how to receive—receiving love from others, from life, and from my own body.

My heart is happy. My heart is full. I feel loved.

How are you showing up for the relationship with your own body today?
